This November, our ballroom on Main Street is hosting something we have never done before: a Regency-era masquerade. Lady Le Fête's Grand Masquerade Gala is Saturday, November 7, and tickets are open now.

If you have been reading our Gazette, you already know Lady Le Fête, the society correspondent who has spent the year introducing New Prague to its own neighbors, businesses and quiet local heroes. The gala is her evening, and ours, and we would love for you to be in the room.

The evening

  • Doors at 5:00 PM at Le Fête Royale, 408 Main Street West, New Prague

  • Heavy hors d'oeuvres and a table of luxurious desserts

  • A punch fountain and the royal bar (cash bar)

  • Live entertainment

  • A costume contest, with the most magnificently attired guest named the Toast of the Ton

  • And, late in the evening, the Diamond of the Season revealed

Tickets

  • Merchant: $65 early bird through Sunday, October 11 ($75 after). The ballroom, the feast, the entertainment and a swag bag.

  • Noble: $110. Everything above, plus early entry, priority at the door and two handmade tokens for the royal bar.

  • Royal Court: $150, only 16 seats. A reserved seat and a custom glass engraved with your name.

  • Table of Ten: $750. Your whole group at one reserved table, and the host is elevated to Royal Court.

Every guest who buys by November 1 receives a gala swag bag. Get your tickets here.

What to wear

Regency attire is encouraged: empire-waist gowns, gloves and pearls for the ladies, tailcoats or a sharp dark suit and a cravat for the gentlemen. Formal wear is perfectly welcome too. Masks are required, and basic masks will be waiting at the door. Lady Le Fête has written a full costume guide, including how to do it on a budget, on ladylefete.com.

Bring your people

The best nights are the ones you plan together. The girls you text every day, the book club, the birthday crew, or the team that deserves a real holiday party: a Table of Ten keeps everyone together, and only four are available.
